Whining Wins The Day

Anyone who reads this blogs knows all about my problem with it being flagged since that's all I've blogged about here. On day 18 of my 20 days until deletion deadline I finally went searching for answers. This lead me to forums where support for Blogger/Blogspot is located. I wrote a small post explaining the problem as best I can, within eight hours or so my blog was unflagged. Yay! Complaining and whining won the day!

Now for the dark cloud to my silver lining: I actually need to figure out something else to write about here. Perhaps I'll give a long and boring account of my television viewing habits. Or maybe I'll go Y-gen and document every boring little thing I do because, obviously, everyone would be soooo interested in that.

Meh, I'm not a writer. I'll be lucky if I get a blog per month written...hopefully it'll they'll about unicorns and route 5 bathroom stalls.

I sent a request for this blog to be reviewed back on the eighth or ninth. I tried the link a few times since, each time the message that a request had been sent showed. Since, according to them, it would only take two business days before being reviewed, I decided to try the link again - this time it looked exactly like it had the first day I asked for a review. I resent the review request tonight.

Many people have multiple blogs and it isn't against TOS to have them so I'm very confused as to why this was flagged to begin with. I thought maybe it was the links, but on rethinking the issue that makes zero sense since I have no control over people following me, nor did I make any link of any kind here either. I'm very confused why a blank blog would be flagged within 24 hours of its creation. Perhaps the name I choose had been used before and violated TOS...or perhaps Blogger's bots are malfunctioning.

This blog still hasn't been reviewed. It hasn't been quite three days yet since I asked for it to be reviewed so it can be unlocked. It feels like it's been closer to a week. I have no real need for this blog, I just thought the name for it sounded halfway decent and was going to save it for non-political blogging. So far it's turned into a blog about Blogger thinking it's spam.

P.S. Their CAPTCHA can be real irritating about half the time. During those times the letters are so distorted i can't make them out. Worse, I have to use it every time I update or post a blog here.

Peer Pressure

Good grief, this Blogger site is putting more pressure on me than most final tests I've taken in school. Apparently if you wait a whole 20 or so hours to blog your blog site gets flagged as a possible spam blog.

Update: after reading the spam clause I can only assume this was tagged because of the common links amongst our group. Oddly enough I didn't do the linking, I got a follower instead. I wonder if this is how OJ Simpson first went bad.
